Troubleshooting

Please try these 2 steps before checking the FAQs below:

1. Closing the app and reopening it will solve most technical problems (this means closing the app, unlike moving it to the background. If you aren’t sure how, click here for iPhone or click here for Android). 


2. Check if you're using the most updated version of the app (iPhone, Android)

FAQs about sign-in

I forgot my password - how can I reset it?
  • Click on your profile image (or the personal icon, if you have no image) in the top right corner 
  • In the menu bar that pops up, click “Sign out” (the last option) 
  • You’ll be asked if you are sure you want to sign out, simply select “Sign out” to continue 
  • From login screen, select “Sign in with email”
  • Enter your email address and click “Continue with password”
  • On the next screen (“Welcome back”) click “Forgot password” underneath the Sign in button
  • An email will be sent to you to help you reset your password

FAQs about notifications

How can I make sure notifications are set up on my phone?
  • Open VIVID on your phone
  • Click on the personal icon (or profile image) in the top right corner of the screen
  • In the menu bar that pops up, select "Settings" (the second option)
  • Click “Go to app settings” (the second option)
  • You’ll be taken to the permissions and settings for VIVID on your phone
  • Make sure that notifications for VIVID are set to “allow”
How can I change the notification times for my practices?

In the main screen (📅 Today): Click the 3 dots icon by the practice which's notification time you want to change. It can be either a time reminder, or your Morning or Evening routine.

In the menu that will be opened, click "Edit reminder" or, for routines, "Edit routine".

If you're editing your Morning or Evening routine, you'll reach a screen showing the practices in your routine and the time in which you'll get notifications to practice your routine. To change this time, click the button "Set" and choose the desired time. Once you're done, click "OK". It'll look like this:

If you're eiting a time reminder, you'll get the reminder editor screen. In this screen, you'll be able to choose the time and days in which you'll get notifications to practice this practice. To change the notication time, click the "Set" button shown by the hour, and choose the desired time. Then, click "OK", and "Save". It'll look like this:


In this screen, you can uncheck all of the days of the week in which the reminder appears, to stop getting notifications from this reminder.

How can I remove the notifications for a practice?

Follow the following instructions if you wish to stop practicing a specific practice:

Go to "My plans" tab:

Click on the 3 dots icon by your plan, and in the menu that will open, choose: "Customize plan".

You'll get to the plan editor. Now, swipe left, or click on the "Practices" tab, to move there.

In this tab, find the practice you want to stop practicing, and click it.

In the next screen, click the reminders section at the botton:

In the next screen - check the checkox that says: "Make this a hidden practice". You'll now stop getting notifications for this practice, and it'll no longer appear in your routines.

Other FAQs

How can I stop plans I don't want to practice anymore?
  • Open VIVID and go to “My Plans” tab:
  • Click on the 3 dots icon by your plan.
  • In the menu that will open, you will be able to choose if you want to delete the plan, or just pause it.
  • Take a note, that deleting a plan is an irreversible action, so if you think you might come back to this plan, you better pause it.
  • If you chose to delete the plan, you’ll be asked if you are sure you want to delete this plan, simply select “Delete anyway". 
How can resume a plan I paused?

If you'd like to practice this plan again, you can:

  • Find the plan in the My plans tab, under "paused plans"
  • Click on the 3 dots icon, and then, instead of pressing "Pause plan", press "Resume plan".
